Burritos in Chicago Loop and Gold Coast for Corporate Apartments

Steak Burrito – La Pasadita

When it comes to burritos, there’s nothing quite as classic as a carne asada burrito with just steak, white onions and cilantro. And that’s exactly what La Pasadita, a Wicker Park mainstay, has been serving up for years and years. While people who live in The Loop or Gold Coast have to take the Blue Line to get here, it’s well worth the time. Don’t be afraid to try the horchata, either.

Al Pastor Burrito – L’Patron

Many people head to Logan Square’s L’Patron for the tacos, but their burritos are best in class as well. L’Patron’s Al Pastor features perfectly seasoned and juicy pork, with pineapple and spices that are synonymous with this classic Mexican meat dish. Bring cash, and be prepared to wait in a line. Trust us, it’s worth it.

Lamb Gyro Burrito – Big & Little’s

Big & Little’s, with location’s on Chicago’s north side and Wicker Park, serves more than just burritos – they serve just about every type of food on earth. But their lamb gyro burrito is a unique mix between Greek and Mexican food.

Chorizo Burrito – Irazu

If you’ve never had Costa Rican food, you owe it to yourself to check out Irazu, located in downtown Chicago’s Bucktown neighborhood. We are partial to the Chorizo burrito, and think that it’s worth a visit, no matter where you’re from. Bonus points: Irazu is BYOB, which means you can bring as much beer as your chorizo-loving heart desires.

Breakfast Burrito – Nana

We couldn’t put together a best burritos in Chicago list without including a breakfast burrito, and Nana makes the best one around. This Bridgeport mainstay features in-house chorizo and scrambled eggs.

Build Your Own Burrito – Dos Toros Taqueria

Dos Toros Taqueria, located in The Loop in downtown Chicago, is like Chipotle on steroids. You can customize your burrito however you’d like. Dos Toros Taqueria is great for workers downtown and for residents of the The Loop’s many corporate apartments.
